This exclusive kit allows for factory correct operation of a brand new (full warranty) fully programmed 4.2″ Color Uplevel Cluster with plug and play simplicity! We can also suppress warnings/errors etc please email for pricing on those applications as they are custom. This kit is primarily aimed at customers who have the IOR base radio but without steering wheel controls and wish to add those controls. This kit allows adding the controls AND upgrading the cluster at the same time to accomplish this. Please make sure you read the entire Description / FAQ prior to ordering.
This product is 100% custom to your vehicle and options and can be tweaked for mods such as added OEM navigation, added park assist etc.
The IOR radio does not have the capability to drive the music, phone or navigation menus that are normally present on this cluster when paired with an uplevel radio (IOS/IOT) so they will not be present.
This kit includes the CLUSTER portion only, NOT the lens or bezel which you’ll reuse from your current unit.

FAQ:
Q: How does this work?
A: You place an order for a cluster using the menus above based on your market (US Spec or Export) model year (which must match your trucks model year) and Fuel type. Upon delivery simply plug the unit in and you’ll be golden; yes it’s really that simple.
Q: Can you do this for Export (Metric clusters)?
A: Yes we can supply them as well via the drop down.
Q: Will I lose any features?
A: No you should not lose any features that you had before however due to changes in operation certain functions may operate differently and we’ve tried to detail any of those here in these FAQ’s.
Q: Will I gain any features?
A: You may gain some slightly different menus. We can also enable things you have added such as indicators for park assist etc. If you have added FACTORY options that your truck didn’t have please put what you have added in the notes section.
Q: Can you delete warning indicators for items I may have removed from the Vehicle??
A: Yes we can, this would all be custom and priced as such, contact us for details.
Q. Why don’t you ask for my Mileage? What happens to my odometer?
A. Your odometer will sync to your vehicle at install at the correct current milage this plug and play with no user intervention required.
Q: What about my engine hours?
A: Generally these are reset to zero. These are not required at a federal or state level however if you wish to keep them we need a report from a dealership using GDS2 software showing them. They can print a report showing your vin as well as idle and total hours. The hours should be noted on the order and a copy of the report scanned and emailed to us for record keeping.
Q: Do I need steering wheel controls to use this cluster?
A: Yes you need factory (or properly retrofit) steering wheel controls to interact with the menus on these units. Adding this cluster along with the proper steering wheel controls (most people replace the wheel) and harness from HarnessDR.com found HERE adds full audio steering wheel controls as well as cluster controls to boot to IOR equipped trucks!
Q: The new unit has a slightly different shape, mostly at the top; is this correct?
A: Yes the Uplevel units have a different shape towards the top however the trim panel in your vehicle supports both versions.
Q: My MPG/Range at install is WAY off is that normal?
A: Completely Normal! The new cluster has no baseline yet. You should start to see it normalize (or be close to completely normal) after one full tank of fuel has been consumed and the vehicle filled up. The remote app may take longer to normalize as it uses a “lifetime” MPG reading.
Q: Do I need to send in my factory cluster?
A. Nope! We are sending you a factory fresh unit.

Purchased this cluster for my 2022 Colorado WT. It’s been installed for 2 months now with no issues. I replaced my cruise control only steering wheel with the radio, phone, cruise, and cluster menu control model (no heat). After installing this cluster and upgraded steering wheel, the cruise control on the front left still works exactly the same, the up/down paddles on the back of the steering wheel control the radio volume and channel favorites just like factory, and all the phone functions/menu controls on the front right work. Also, the cluster is in color and has more features! I couldn’t be happier! Do yourself a favor and buy this cluster from WAMS – you won’t be sorry! Installation requires a little effort, but not too difficult. Here’s what you’ll need:
– Purchase this cluster from WAMS: It may take a few weeks for the cluster to be sent to WAMS, so be patient!
– Steering wheel upgrade: GM Part # 85117689 (no heat). I bought a used one on eBay – $120
– Wires harnesses/clock spring: none needed for my situation
– Impact Drill: You’ll need an electric impact drill, otherwise you never get the steering wheel off. I bought from Amazon an 8.5-Amp Electric Impact Wrench, 1/2 Impact Gun 480N.m Torque Power – $60
– Youtube videos: Plenty of good videos out there for steering wheel removal and cluster replacement.

Thank you guys so much for offering this service. I was able to install this in about 10 minutes. Plug-in and play on my 2022 Colorado WT. After replacing my steering wheel and clock spring I now have audio controls. This was well worth the money. I am hoping WAMS can find a way to upgrade us WT guys to the 8 inch radio some day!
