Did you know most Cadillac vehicles have a feature that automatically activates the heated seats when it’s cold outside — without you having to press a single button? This ship-in service brings that same Cadillac-grade comfort to your 2018 Buick Enclave.
The 2018 Enclave was built on a platform that supports Auto Heated Seats functionality at the BCM level, but the feature wasn’t activated from the factory on most Enclave trims. WAMS unlocks it through custom BCM programming, giving your Enclave the same intelligent seat heating behavior found on Cadillac CT5, Escalade, and other premium GM platforms.
How Auto Heated Seats works:
- Both heated seats activate automatically (based on seat occupancy detection) when the ambient temperature drops below approximately 50°F
- The system intelligently adjusts the heat level as the seats warm up — it doesn’t just blast heat and leave it there
- Once the seats reach a comfortable temperature, the system turns itself off automatically
- No button presses required — it just works, every cold morning
Requirements:
- Your 2018 Enclave must be equipped with factory heated seats. This service activates the auto function; it does not add heated seat hardware to a vehicle that doesn’t have it.
- Year-specific: this programming applies to the 2018 model year Enclave. Please confirm your model year before ordering.
How it works:
This is a ship-in service for your BCM (Body Control Module). Ship us your BCM, we program it and return it to you ready to reinstall. Contact us if you have any questions about locating or removing your BCM before sending it in.
