Description
For the 2019 model year, the C7 cluster’s Track Mode presentation was refined into a more race-focused layout many owners describe as the “GTLM-style” Track display. If you’ve compared a 2016–2018 cluster side-by-side with a 2019, the Track screen differences are immediately noticeable in layout, emphasis, and how the Track-focused screens present information.
This service upgrades 2016 through 2018 model year C7 Corvette digital clusters to the later 2019 Track / GTLM-style display for far better on track data display.
What This Service Upgrades
This service targets the Track mode display behavior and presentation, including:
• Updated Track-mode layout logic consistent with the 2019 model year configuration
• Track-focused tach emphasis and race-style presentation behavior
• Updated Track-mode screen layout and how Track-oriented data is presented
What This Service Does Not Do
To keep this OEM-correct and predictable, this service does not attempt to “force” options your vehicle doesn’t physically have.
• This does not add hardware-based features your Corvette was not originally equipped with
• This is not a repair for dead pixels, flickering, dim backlighting, black spots or power/intermittent faults (we can sell you a new cluster to fix those!)
• This is not an aftermarket overlay, skin, or custom theme
Important Equipment Notes
Some Track-related functions are equipment-dependent. If your Corvette is not equipped with certain factory options, the cluster cannot display or use option-tied features that require the underlying hardware/modules. This service updates the Track presentation and supported behaviors based on your vehicles as built configuration.
Data Integrity (Read This If You Care About the “Numbers”)
This service preserves your vehicle’s critical cluster-stored values.
• Odometer is retained
• VIN association is retained
• Engine hours are retained
• Rev counter values are retained
This service is designed specifically to keep those values intact.
Supported Vehicles
• 2016–2018 Chevrolet Corvette (C7)
