Nearly everything we supply is VIN-programmed or vehicle-specific GM electronics. Before shipping, many parts must be configured for your specific vehicle and warranty registered with GM. This ensures that the components you receive are correctly matched to your vehicle and supported under the appropriate GM warranty coverage. A portion of this process involves manufacturer registration and programming steps that occur outside of our direct control and can account for approximately 50–75% of the total processing time listed below.
Please scroll to the bottom of this page for the most current backorder status updates.
To help keep orders moving as quickly as possible, we kindly ask customers to allow the processing times listed below before requesting order updates. Responding to status inquiries during the quoted processing window can slow down order handling for everyone.
This list is updated within minutes of us receiving any kind of status updates for backorders so it will always be the most current. If the date hasn’t changed that means the processing time and backorder status has not changed.
We sincerely appreciate your patience while we prepare your order.

BACKORDERS:
The list below reflects the most current information available from our suppliers. As soon as we receive updated information it is posted here, and backordered items are prioritized for processing as soon as inventory arrives.
4.2″ Clusters for IOR Steering Wheel Controls: These are supplier ship direct. Frankly they are basically always on backorder due to the supply chain methodology on these. If you want to upgrade to the Denali or High Country version rather than waiting drop us a line from the contact us page.
2022.5–2026 Global B Steering Wheel Upgrade Kits: These are currently on backorder as noted in the product description. GM is showing mid Mid May to Early June currently as an ETA for the GMC version and no ETA yet for the Chevrolet versions (which is common).
High Country and Denali Clusters (T1): The following units are currently on backorder:
2020–2023 US Spec High Country Diesel (L5P and LM2). Denali Variants have shipped, hoping high country shouldn’t be too far behind.
2021–2024 T1 SUV RSE Replacement Screens: 2021 and 2022-2024 Right/Passenger-side units are on backorder but parts are in transit to GMESC.
IOK Radio Upgrades for T1 SUV: These are still showing in transit to GMESC that is all the information we have available to us at this time.
2020-2024 Global A IOS, IOU, IOT and IOK Replacement CSM’s and Wireless CarPlay upgrades for all models: These are on Global backorder as you’re aware. 2021-2024 Global A IOS/IOU units (Wireless CarPlay Kits with Base Audio) backorders filled through 4/29/26; additional units to follow. IOT units are finally showing in transit to GMESC there is no posted ETA to us yet though which is normal. We are again covering the second 6/1 increase in price on these units for our customers who have backorders.
