It is the factory display for the rear entertainment system in the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Yukon XL and Escalade. If a screen in your rear seat entertainment system is cracked, blank or unresponsive, this is the part that replaces it.
These screens are commonly damaged from impact, pressure, or accidents caused by kids or cargo. How to order
Enter your VIN. We work out your model year, which is what decides the part. The only thing left to choose is which screen you are replacing: the one behind the driver’s seat, or the one behind the passenger’s seat.
The two are not interchangeable. The module that runs the whole rear entertainment system is built into the passenger side display, which feeds the driver side. That is why the passenger side costs more, and why a driver side unit will not work in its place.
Before ordering, check your Service Parts Identification label for UW9. That is the factory Rear Seat Entertainment option.

Q: Are these genuine GM parts?
A: Yes. This is a brand-new OEM GM display assembly. It is the same factory GM part used in production vehicles and in dealership service repairs. These units are not refurbished, not repaired, and not pulled from other vehicles.
Q: Does this fit the 2021, 2022, 2023 or 2024 Tahoe or Suburban rear entertainment system?
A: Yes, provided the vehicle was built with factory RSE (UW9). Choose the side you are replacing; the driver and passenger side are different parts.
Q: Does this fit the 2021, 2022, 2023 or 2024 Yukon or Escalade rear entertainment system?
A: Yes, on the Yukon, Yukon XL, Escalade and Escalade ESV with factory RSE (UW9). Choose the side you are replacing.
Q: Is this the entire screen assembly?
A: Yes. This is the complete GM display module, including the trim and bezel, structure, electronics, and mounting points. It is the same fully built assembly used in OEM service, not just the LCD panel.
Q: Why are the passenger side units more expensive?
A: On these vehicles the module that runs the entire RSE system is built into the passenger side display, which feeds the driver side display. The extra electronics drive the price of those units up.
Q: Which unit is shown in the pictures?
A: That is the driver’s side unit, which is why it does not have the extra connector and electronics.
Q: Can I order a driver’s side for my passenger side to save money?
A: No. As noted above the screens are specific to each side. This would never work, nor would the inverse. You must order the proper screen for the side you are replacing.
Q: How do I know which side I need?
A: Sit in the vehicle facing forward. The driver’s side screen is on the back of the driver’s seat, and the passenger’s side screen is on the back of the front passenger seat. Replace the one that is damaged.
Q: How do I know my SUV has factory Rear Seat Entertainment?
A: Check your Service Parts Identification label for RPO UW9. If it is not listed, your vehicle was not built with RSE and a screen has nothing to connect to. A screen on its own does not add the system.
Q: Will I need dealer programming after installation?
A: No. The replacement screen is plug and play and is recognized automatically by the RSE system.
Q: Which vehicles are compatible?
A: All 2021-2024 GM full-size SUVs on the T1 platform: Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, and Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, equipped with factory RSE (UW9).
Q: Will this fit a 2025, 2026 or 2027?

Q: My screen is black but not damaged. Will this fix it?
A: Usually, but not always. A blank screen can also come from the passenger side module, the wiring, or a fault elsewhere in the system. Worth having it checked before ordering, as these are not returnable once fitted.
Q: Why do these screens fail so often?
A: They are frequently cracked or damaged by impact from passengers, children, or cargo. OEM replacements restore proper touch response and display quality.
Q: Do I need to send my old screen back?
A: No. There is no core charge and no core return. Please recycle the old unit responsibly.
