A: Yes. These are brand-new OEM GM display assemblies, not refurbished and not pulled from salvage vehicles.
Q: Is the screen the same for both sides?
A: Yes. On 2025-2027 vehicles a single assembly fits both the driver and passenger side, so there is nothing to choose. The 2021-2024 models use different parts for each side; if that is your vehicle, see the 2021-2024 screen.
Q: Does this fit the 2025, 2026 or 2027 Tahoe or Suburban rear entertainment system?
A: Yes, provided the vehicle was built with factory RSE (UW9). The same assembly fits both sides.
Q: Does this fit the 2025, 2026 or 2027 Yukon or Escalade rear entertainment system?
A: Yes, on the Yukon, Yukon XL, Escalade and Escalade ESV with factory RSE (UW9). It does not fit the Escalade IQ.
Q: Do these include the bezel or surround?
A: Yes. Each unit is the complete OEM assembly, including the plastic bezel and surround, integrated electronics, and all mounting points.
Q: How do I know my SUV has factory Rear Seat Entertainment?
A: Check your Service Parts Identification label for RPO UW9. If it is not listed, your vehicle was not built with RSE and this screen has nothing to connect to. A screen alone does not add the system.
Q: Will I need dealer programming after installation?
A: No. The replacement screen is plug and play and is recognized automatically by the RSE system.
Q: Which vehicles are compatible?
A: All 2025-2027 GM full-size SUVs on the T1 platform: Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, and Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, equipped with factory RSE (UW9).
Q: Does this fit the Escalade IQ?
A: No. The Escalade IQ is an electric vehicle on a different platform and uses a different system entirely.
Q: Will this fit a 2021 to 2024?
A: No. Those use different assemblies, and they are handed, so the driver and passenger sides are different parts. We carry those as well; see the 2021-2024 screen.
Q: My screen is cracked but everything else works. Is this all I need?
A: Yes, in most cases. The assembly includes the display, the bezel and the electronics behind it, so physical damage to the screen is resolved by replacing the whole unit.
Q: My screen is black but not damaged. Will this fix it?
A: Usually, but not always. A blank screen can also come from the RSE module, the wiring, or a fault elsewhere in the system. Have it diagnosed before ordering, as these are not returnable once fitted.
Q: Why do these screens fail so often?
A: They are frequently cracked or damaged by impact from passengers, children, or shifting cargo. An OEM replacement restores proper touch response and display quality.
Q: Do I need to send my old screen back?
A: No. There is no core charge and no core return. Please recycle the old unit responsibly.
