Description

Custom BCM programming for your truck. We program the body control module (BCM) from your 2019-2022 Silverado or Sierra 1500, or 2020-2023 2500HD or 3500HD, with the features you choose. One price covers every feature on this page. You remove your BCM and ship it in, we build the calibration from your truck’s own factory software, change only what you ordered, and send it back ready to plug in. There’s no programmer to buy and nothing to flash yourself.

How it works

  1. Choose your features and enter your 17-digit VIN. The VIN is required, so have it ready before you start.
  2. Check out. Return shipping for your BCM is calculated at checkout from your address.
  3. Remove your BCM and ship it to us using the instructions in your order confirmation.
  4. We confirm the VIN, build your calibration from your truck’s factory file, and program your BCM.
  5. We ship it back plug and play. Reinstall it and your features are ready to use.

We keep your original calibration on file, so any change can go back to stock.

One price, any features

The programming fee covers every feature below. Choose as many or as few as you want. Each one costs nothing extra.

Features

Lighting Features

  • Cargo/Bed Lamps While Driving
The cargo and bed lamps stay on, and can be switched on, in Drive or Reverse. From the factory they shut off once you leave Park.
  • Fog Lights with High Beams
Your fog lights stay on when you switch to high beams. From the factory they turn off.
  • Fog Lights with Auto High Beams (IntelliBeam) (requires factory IntelliBeam)
Your fog lights stay on while IntelliBeam is switching the high beams automatically.
  • Hyperflash Delete (for LED Bulbs)
Stops the fast flash and bulb-out warning after you install LED turn signal bulbs. This also removes the warning for a burned-out turn signal bulb, so you’ll need to check your turn signals yourself.

Convenience Features

  • Roll Up Windows from Key Fob (express-up windows only)
Hold Lock on the key fob to roll up the front windows that have express-up (one-touch up). On trucks where only the driver’s window has express-up, only that window rolls up. The rear windows don’t roll up from the fob.
  • Remote Start Runs for 20 Minutes per Cycle (requires factory remote start)
Each remote start runs for 20 minutes instead of the factory 15.
  • Cooled Seats with Remote Start (requires factory ventilated seats)
Adds the cooled seat option to your truck’s remote start settings menu.
  • Disable Auto Idle Shutdown (push-button start trucks)
The engine no longer shuts itself off after idling in Park for a while.
  • Raise the Speed Limiter
Choose 112 or 120 mph. This raises the limit set in the BCM only. The engine computer may still limit top speed, and your tires must be rated for the speed you choose.

More Settings

  • Light and Window Timers
Sets how long lights stay on and windows keep working after you shut the truck off. Factory: no change. Extended: bed lamps shut off after 60 minutes, headlights and interior lights left on shut off after 20 minutes, and windows keep working for 20 minutes. Maximum: 120 minutes for bed lamps, 30 minutes for headlights and interior lights, and 40 minutes for windows. Longer timers mean lights left on can drain the battery further before they shut off.
  • Tap-to-Pass Flashes
Sets how many times the turn signal flashes when you tap the stalk for a lane change: 3 (factory), 4 or 5. Applies in normal driving. Tow/Haul mode keeps its own factory count.
  • Key Fob Lock/Unlock Flashes
Sets how many times the turn signals flash when you lock or unlock with the key fob: 2, 3 or 4. Your choice applies to both lock and unlock. From the factory they flash once on lock and twice on unlock.

Activate GM Retrofit Parts

Added GM parts from a higher trim? Most of them won’t work until the BCM is programmed for them, and these switch them on. We don’t supply or install the parts. They must already be installed and wired.

  • Fog Lights
Turns on fog lights added to a trim that didn’t come with them.
  • Heated Front Seats
Turns on heated front seats added to a truck that didn’t come with them.
  • Ventilated Front Seats
Turns on ventilated (cooled) front seats.
  • Heated Rear Seats
    Turns on heated rear seats.
  • Cargo Bed Rail Lamps (UF2)
Turns on the bed rail lamps from higher trims.
  • Puddle Lamps (Uplevel Mirrors)
Turns on the puddle lamps in uplevel mirrors.
  • GMC MultiPro / Chevy Multi-Flex Tailgate (manual tailgate trucks)
Turns on a MultiPro or Multi-Flex tailgate added to a truck that came with a manual tailgate.
  • Separate Rear Turn Signals (Amber Lamps)
Separates the rear turn signals from the brake lights, so installed and wired amber rear turn lamps flash on their own while the brake lights stay steady.
  • One-Touch All-Windows Button
Turns on an added all-windows button so one press moves every window.

Fitment

Fits: 2019-2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 (pre-refresh), and 2020-2023 Silverado and Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD, gas and diesel. These trucks are GM’s T1 platform.

Does not fit: the refreshed 2022 and later 1500, 2024 and later 2500HD and 3500HD, and the 2019 Silverado LD, 2019 Sierra Limited and 2019 2500HD and 3500HD, which use the previous platform. For those 2019 trucks, see our 2014-2019 Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe and Yukon BCM programming.

Frequently asked questions

Does each feature cost extra?

No. One programming fee covers every feature you choose, whether you pick one or all of them. The only other charge is return shipping for your BCM, which is calculated at checkout from your address.

Do I need to buy a programmer or tool?

No. You remove your BCM and ship it to us. We program it here and send it back ready to plug in. You don’t buy, register or plug in any device.

Can I buy a BCM from you with these features already programmed?

No. Your truck’s BCM holds data that belongs to that truck, including its security and key data and its mileage record. A different BCM wouldn’t have any of that, so it wouldn’t work properly in your truck. That’s why we program the BCM you already have and send it back to you.

Do I need my VIN to order?

Yes. Your 17-digit VIN is required before you can add this to your cart, because the calibration is built for your truck. You’ll find it on the driver’s side of the dashboard where it meets the windshield, on your registration, or on your insurance card.

Which trucks does this fit?

2019-2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 (pre-refresh), and 2020-2023 Silverado and Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD, gas or diesel. It does not fit the refreshed 2022 and later 1500, 2024 and later HD trucks, or the 2019 Silverado LD, 2019 Sierra Limited and 2019 HD trucks, which use the previous platform. We check every VIN before we program anything.

Can I order for two trucks at once?

Each order is built for one VIN, so place a separate order for each truck.

Will it set trouble codes?

Not for the lighting, convenience and settings features. Retrofit part activations turn on GM’s own fault monitoring for those parts, so the parts must be installed and wired. With the parts in place, the truck behaves like one that came with them from the factory. Without them, expect codes.

Can it go back to stock?

Yes. We keep your truck’s original calibration on file, so any change can be put back to factory.

Does it work on HD and diesel trucks?

Yes. 2020-2023 2500HD and 3500HD trucks, gas and diesel, use the same BCM software as the 1500.

Why don’t you offer more remote start time or manual high idle?

Both also need changes to the engine computer. This service programs the body control module only, so remote start tops out at 20 minutes per cycle and manual high idle isn’t offered.

Does raising the speed limiter remove every speed limit?

No. It raises the limit set in the BCM to the speed you choose. The engine computer may still apply its own limit. Your tires must be rated for the speed you select.

  1. Jarett Logsdon (verified owner) –

I programmed my BCM to add cooled seats in my truck in <5 minutes, no send in required! WAMSs take great care of customers. I had all hardware in place for heated rear seats but no BCM programming. WAMSs did the mapping/hooked me up with the programming. WAMS is very talented and there is no one else out there like them.Truck looks very cool with headlights off, fogs on and DRLs on. This is a great value for the enjoyment, easy use and customization. Great technology and very awesome service!!
